Product Description
The granulation drum also called agglomeration drum or rotary drum fertilizer granulator is the key equipment in the compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer production, it works to large-scale production of cold and hot granulation as well as high, medium and low concentration NPK fertilizers. The drum inside lines with special rubber plates or acid resistant stainless steel plates to achieve automatic scar removal and tumor removal, eliminate the traditional scraper device.
This granulation drum has the advantages of high ball forming strength, good appearance quality, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, low energy consumption, long service life, and convenient operation and maintenance
Working Principle
Drum granulation machine or Agglomeration drums work by tumbling material in a rotating drum in the presence of an adhesives agent. Through a certain amount of water or steam,The adhesives agent causes the fines powder to become tacky and allows them to pick up additional fines, forming agglomerates in a process referred to as coalescence. The tumbling action helps to round the agglomerates and create a homogenous mixture.
